Hi, I’m Sam The Wino and welcome to my blog. I love wine and I love writing about the wines that I love!

I’m not snobby about wine; I write about accessible everyday wine, as well as wine for special occasions. I aim to keep my reviews informative, concise and free of jargon.

At the moment my favourite wine regions are Languedoc in southern France and Sonoma county in California but I love discovering new wines from all around the world. The wines that excite me most are ones that are expressive of their origin and don’t just grab my attention straight away, but that continue evolving in the glass.
